iPad Back Button disappears when moving from Portrait to Landscape

I've searched the net and haven't seen anything, so I assume there is a simple solution I am overlooking. When our salespeople turn their iPads to Landscape mode from Portrait, the QuickBase back button disappears from the bottom of the screen. Does anyone have suggestions for this (other than have them turn to Portrait)?  They are using keyboards that make the orientation change impractical. Are there any API calls I could incorporate in a formula button that would replace this functionality when they are in Landscape orientation?

    Not receiving a response in this forum, I entered a support case with QuickBase. The behavior I described has been previously documented and it is listed as a bug to be fixed, though there is no commitment as to when the product team will release a fix for it.
