Is it possible to create a Group role based on a value in a reference field?

Is it possible to create a Group role based upon the value in one reference field in a table within the app?  I have a field, OPCO, that has either A or B in it.  These letters reference which portion...

Unfortunately, you will have to build that field on every table and create a Custom Rule for both View & Modify. You'll end up with one Role for Group A and one Role for Group B
