QUNECT or HTTP POST to conenct with POWER BI ?

I have seen people discuss both ways. Anyone here who has gotten both ways to work can tell me advantage disadvantage of both?  Personally I only can get qunect to work so for. Not the HTTP call. .. Some authentication problems
