Pipeline checking if file attachment has changed

When a record changes (trigger) I want to be able to tell if a specific file attachment has changed. With most fields I can compare the field {{a.name}} with the previous value {{a.$prev.name}} to det...

Try making a formula text field called [File Name] 
with a formula field of 

ToText([Name])

where I presume that [Name] is your file attachment field.

Then try  prev in that.
