Removing a URL Button from a Relationship once it's clicked

I have a relationship between an Audits table and a Checklist table. Here's the process in which these are used:

1. A leader schedules their team member to complete an audit (so they add a new record).
2. Team member opens their assigned audit and enters the schedule information for that audit. They navigate to the Checklist tab and click on Add Checklist.
3. They then complete 1-2 sections of a 4 section checklist. They can return to this checklist as they complete these tasks.
4. When it's time for the audit, they open the audit record and click on the checklist link and complete the checklist, the return to the audit form and complete the audit.

I need the button to appear in step 2, but not in any step after that. I want to drive them to open the checklist they already created, not create a new one. How can I remove the Add Checklist button?

  • On the relationship, make a summary of the # of Checklists.
Use that in your form rule
