Replacement for "Copy Parent & Child Records" Button Creator?

Maybe you enabled recusion. In the field for the copy button, if there is something like &recurse=true change to false or just add &recurse=false to the formula URL.

    But don't we want recursion? The added parameter fixed the error issue but now only copies child records (and not children of children, despite the settings I chose when building the button).

        Sure thing. To be honest there's a lot going on in this app, but the main relationships I'm looking for from a cascading record copy standpoint are ([one] -< [many])

        Proposal -< Estimate
        Estimate -< Labor Tasks
        Estimate -< Subcontractor
        Estimate -< Job Equipment Table
        Estimate -< Misc Costs
        Labor Tasks -< Job Parts List
        Labor Tasks -< Job Materials Sheet Metal
        Labor Tasks -< TI Piping Job Table
        Labor Tasks -< Job Controls Materials
        Labor Tasks -<Manual Parts Table
