Report

Question

How would I build a report that will ask user a [Percent of Weight] then ask user for the [Weight] and then display in a summary report showing items that are X% more to X% less?
&nbsp;
I have the following fields I am working with:
[Weight] – Numeric – (~13,000 records)
[Percent to Search Weight] – Percent
[Weight – Percent Higher] – Formula – Numeric
[Weight – Percent Lower] – Formula – Numeric
T
This does NOT work or a few variations of this.&nbsp; ☹&nbsp; Seems like this should be an easy one.&nbsp; I just need user to type weight and + or – X % and then display a report with the results.

Follow up to my post – If a user could just type in the weight and the report would show everything sorted by how close the weight is, that would be just a good. Another words, it would show items with exact same weight followed by items that are one pound heavier and one pound lighter and so on. If that is an easier solution, I am fine with something along those lines. Just an idea. Thanks.

np,Create a helper table called Weight Finder.&nbsp;Create those two fields in that table for the Weight and %.One record to the table and then lock down permissions that no one, not even the admin can add or delete that single record.&nbsp; The single record will of course be record ID equals one.&nbsp;&nbsp;Ate a relationship down to your details table. Let the system create a field for you and then rename the field to be called [Link to Weight Finder (=1)]&nbsp; Change the field tape to formula numeric and make the formula&nbsp; of 1.Great. Now every detail record is linked to your weight finder and you can look up the weight and the percent down to your detail table and create a formula that down there which will do the math. Do any calculations.&nbsp;&nbsp;Then put an embedded report on the Weight Finder of the detail records and use the sorted report.
