Same email used for two users in same app

I have a user that is logging in using same email address for two separate roles in same app.
I didn't realize I had set this up. How would qbase differentiate which role to assign the user to?

    It won't, actually. A single user can be assigned multiple Roles and Quickbase will essentially aggregate the permissions and provide the user the least restrictive options selected.

    I believe that when you have two user IDs for one email address, then you will end up having a different User Name for the two user IDs.  The User Name is set in the My Preferences page.   You sign in by the User Name when you have alternate Userids for the same email address.

    Many (most) users don't bother setting that and as a result their user name will appear as their email address. But for example my username is YourCoach

      I may have misunderstood your question. Blake is correct if it's a simple case where the user only has one user ID but they are in two rolls then they get the most permissions possible.  

      But if the roles are assigned to different dashboards they can't get the most dashboards possible so what they get is the dashboard associated with the role that his highest up in the list of Roles. The list of rules can drag and drop.
