State and cities based on county And state

Question

I want to create 3 dropdowm field like Country,State,and City​​.State dropdown list has to show only states from selected country and city dropdown list has to show the cities from the selected states..How can I do that??Please help me------------------------------Chethana Shetty------------------------------

Hi Chethana,It is possible to get the functionality you are looking for using a Conditional Dropdown. The dropdown uses the relationship between tables to help you narrow down a list of options in a dropdown to only show options related to a previous selection. What you would need is 3 tables one table each for Countries, States, and Cities and then you would relate them to eachother so that Countries have States and States have Cities then you can use a Conditional Dropdown to set it up so that users first pick countries and then only see states in that country and then cities in that state. We have a help document that goes over the set up that would walk you through the needed steps right here. Hi Cethana,&nbsp;Below is a list of states. This link might be able to provide the list of US cities, but a Google search can give you more options.&nbsp;http://www.opengeocode.org/download.php#statecity
You can copy and paste/import the state list into a table.
