Text Formula URL to open external webpage

Question

I want to create a formula text "button" that will open a specific html page I have built in QB - this URL also passes information from some of the fields in the table it sits on:

This is what the URL looks like:

https://MY.quickbase.com/db/bxbxbxbxbx?a=dbpage&pageID=7&aid=[Record ID#]&company=[Company Name for URL]&time=[Date and Time for URL]

I'm having trouble getting it to work - and it's probably something silly I am missing.

I'm not understanding what you are trying to do, but I observe that you have &amp;aid= In it.&nbsp;&nbsp;Did you mean &amp;rid=

yes, rid - ...what I am trying to do - I have this in an email with html:&nbsp;&nbsp;"&lt;a href="https://MY.quickbase.com/db/bxbxbxbxbx?a=dbpage&amp;pageID=7&amp;rid=[Record ID#]&amp;company=[Company Name for URL]&amp;time=[Date and Time for URL]"&gt;it works fine from the email - but if I try to make a button out of it ... it doesn't pull the information from the fields in... that's the part I need help with

I got it!!Here is what I did "https://MY.quickbase.com/db/bxbxbxbxbx?a=dbpage&amp;pageID=7&amp;rid="&amp;; URLEncode([Record ID#])&amp;"&amp;company="&amp; URLEncode([Company Name for URL])&amp;"&amp;time="&amp; URLEncode([Date and Time for URL])Works beautifully now
