I figured out that I missed the divide by 10 in my formula when I recreated it in Quickbase. That turned it my 225 to the 22.5 decimal in excel formula for the roundup to work. IF(ROUNDUP((Q55/10),0)<5,5,ROUNDUP((Q55/10),0)),"") Jen Re: Roundup whole number Hey Mark, Thanks so much for the help, that still didn't work, your suggestion worked but it only add a 1 to my 225 making is 226 which while it does round up, it doesn't exactly round up the way I need. It seems like the excel formula is making it a 22.5 and then rounding so we get the 23. Thinking I might need to part out my number to add the decimal and then round it. Jen Roundup whole number Hello, I need help with rounding up a whole number in Quickbase. My formula in Excel is =IF(ISNUMBER(D59),IF(ROUNDUP((Q55/10),0)<5,5,ROUNDUP((Q55/10),0)),"") Round doesn't work when the number from the formula in Quickbase is over 100 or larger. I want to be able to take something like 2,250/10 = 225(Q55 in formula above) and have QB give me 23. If I put in 1 in my formula it would give me 5. 1/10=.1 returns 5. Thanks in Advance. Re: Remove extra space when using a formula QuieryHello Prashant, That worked perfectly. Thank you ------------------------------ Jennifer Silberstein ------------------------------ Remove extra space when using a formula Quiery Hello everyone, I have a formula that brings in data from another table and it could have multiple results. When I do there is an extra space at the end before the ";". I have been trying to figure out how to get rid of the space but no luck. I either remove all spaces or I only get part of my results. Formula: ToText(GetFieldValues(GetRecords("{8.EX.'"&[Project]&"'}", [_DBID_X]), 286)) Result with extra space before the ; 1 % ; 1 % ; 1 % or 5 mg ; 10 mg Trying to get 1 %; 1 %; 1 % or 5 mg; 10 mg Any help is appreciated. Thanks ------------------------------ Jennifer Silberstein ------------------------------ Re: Already Populated Grid Edit optionHello Prashant, Thank you for the assistance! I totally forgot about copy master, I might try that before I do the API_Edit as I am not as familiar with the API calls. Thanks again. Jen ------------------------------ Jennifer Silberstein ------------------------------ Already Populated Grid Edit optionHelloAll, I am looking for a way to have an option, either a button, report or maybe a pipeline that is like a grid edit that already has come field filled out. If you were to use the button idea, you would hit the button and a grid edit report would come up. When it did it would have all 28 of my products filled out plus 2 other fields and allow the user to then fill out the remaining field on the report. They would hit save and all 28 product orders would then be added to our list. My list of products is in another app but I can easily add a sync table to the app where the orders are for ease of connection if needed. Basically when we get a new customer, we have to enter in orders for all 28 products and just looking for a way to save the team time as grid edit only has 5 rows to start and adding rows and the copy/paste gets tedious. Any help is appreciated. Jen ------------------------------ Jennifer Silberstein ------------------------------ Greater/less than with negative number formulaHello, I am having trouble figuring out why my formula doesn't work. I have tried several versions and none have worked so I need help. I have a field that is a % that could be negative or positive. I need to create a formula that says if that % is -3% or higher that is exceeding, if it is below -4 that is bad. So, -1% good, -18% bad, 25 % good, etc. This is where I ended up but still not working, it makes everything good or bad, there is no separation. I even tried separation, -1, -2, -3 out in the formula but still no luck. If([%]>=-3, "Exceeded", If([%]<=-4, "BAD")) or If([%]>=-3, "Exceeded", "Bad") Any help is greatly appreciated. ------------------------------ Jennifer Silberstein ------------------------------ Trying to alternate row colors based on creating a new row numberHello, I am trying to create a report that has alternating colors for the rows. I can't us the record Id because the Record ID is not in sequential order when filtered (as seen below). I have been searching on how to create a new record number or something for the report itself to help do an alternating number or even/odd to use with a formula for colorizing rows, but not luck yet. Hoping someone has encountered this problem and has a fix. Here is a sample of my report where I am trying to alternate colors. My report can change weekly so I need something that will change with the report.
