Address map adjust pin and get latitude / longitude

Hi,
Is there a way for us to be able to have a user adjust the pin on the map that displays next to the address field ? and capture the latitude / longitude ?

Thanks!

  • Currently we do not have the ability for a location to be edited directly on a map by clicking and moving the pin itself. We also do not currently return the latitude and longitude for a map location via Mapbox. I would encourage you though to include that feedback in our User Voice as a business need for your company. UserVoice is our Feedback Platform- which can most easily be accessed from the My Apps page in Quick Base by clicking on the orange Feedback tab that appears on the left hand side of the page or at http://quickbase.uservoice.com .  This forum is used by our development team to explore customer suggestions for enhancements / changes to the platform.

Alternatively, I do know that we have some Partners that do help with enhancing those options available via mapping. Those services can be found on our Partner page https://www.quickbase.com/partners/find-a-partner . It gives a list of our Partners by their specialization and also their geographic location if you would prefer working with a local Partner. I'm sorry there isn't a native functionality at this time I could point you to for drag and drop editing for our address fields.
  • Not sure if you ever solved for this but Trinity does have a solution for plotting the latitude and longitude and being able to adjust it using a pin drop.  Here is a video that shows how it is done:  https://youtu.be/RTIbLBae_do
