I have a requirement which I'm attempting to do via Quickbase but not sure what the best method is.
I have an application with multiple relationships and level of relationships:

Providers may have many Assignments, Assignments may have many Positions.
Providers may have many Degrees, Degrees may have many Credentials
Providers may have many Specialties

I need to create a grid edit report which lets the user modify data within all the tables above. For example, from a grid edit report, a user should be able to edit data from the provider table, the assignment table, position table, degree table, and specialties table.

Is this possible?

Grid Edit applies only to the table the Report is created in; so using native-Grid Edit would not enable you to make changes across records in different tables which were related to each other.

Your relationships will "pass data down" from the parent to the child; but that data cannot be modified from the child record itself.

You can create multiple Grid Edit reports which you can then provide "links" to; to enable a User to easily access which would allow Grid Editing of data in any of the tables where that data is sourced. Lookup and Summary data can be included in those reports; for display purposes only - but not modified.

Otherwise, you're going to need some custom integration. Usually; however, even with custom integration, your data set displayed usually comes from one table; and you can then use code to save updates to the related tables and related parent records.
