- GauravSharma3Qrew CommanderHi Catherine,
Are you trying to create a report?
Thanks,
Gaurav - CatheeCatheeQrew CadetNo I am trying to make a monthly plan from yearly plan
- GauravSharma3Qrew CommanderIf you are using a summary report then, you can group your rows by year.
- CatheeCatheeQrew Cadetthanks. but how can I make it that the company only will show.. not the groups
- GauravSharma3Qrew CommanderYou have to choose company field here or if you are trying to filter the company then you can select the filter option.
Can you please tell me the names of the fields or post a screenshot of report setting if possible? - CatheeCatheeQrew Cadethi this is what I did.. this is the 4 fields I made
- CatheeCatheeQrew Cadetand when I tried to make summary report only 1 quarter will be summarized
- CatheeCatheeQrew CadetHI!
How can I also write multiple dates.. for example for this company i WILL BE VISITING IT FOR 4 TIMES A YEAR- GauravSharma3Qrew CommanderFor that you have to create 4 records with multiple dates.
- CatheeCatheeQrew CadetHow>
- CatheeCatheeQrew CadetThank so much for the help im sorry if i have many questions. i just need help
- CatheeCatheeQrew Cadetin one company i might have 1-24 visit every year..
for example form ABC Company... Ill visit them January, April, July and also October.. how can I input multiple dates so it can be summarized by monthly quarterly or yearly- GauravSharma3Qrew CommanderI assumed that you have a table where you maintain your visits? or if you want then, I am able to schedule a quick call with you.
Please contact me at gaurav.sharma@elevateservices.com
Thanks,
Gaurav - CatheeCatheeQrew CadetYes I do have a table with visit frequency.. but I have different fields each visits and i can summarize on the field with 1 date
- GauravSharma3Qrew CommanderThat's the main problem. You can only summarise with one field.
It seems there is so much confusion here. If you can share your screen or take a call then, I am able to assist you better.
- MCFNeilQrew CaptainMy 2 cents for this would be to make the "visits" a child table. Then just have a "date" field, and you can have multiples, then build many different types of reports based on the date and grouped how you'd like.
- GauravSharma3Qrew CommanderIt means we have multiple visits with different dates right?
- CatheeDimayugaQrew Trainee
for example.. I have to visit 1 company with many groups...
Group A- January , May, August and December
Group B, Feb, april, July, Nov..
and then many companies in a year.. around 100 companies
- GauravSharma3Qrew CommanderI assumed that you have created three tables:
1. Companies
2. Groups
3. Visits
1 company has many Groups
Company 1
>Group 1
>Group 2
Company 2
>Group1
>Group 2
>Group 3
Then, you can create a visit where you can select the company and groups (it will be dependent on the company) and select a date of your visit.
Thanks,
