Is it possible to create a Group role based on a value in a reference field?

Is it possible to create a Group role based upon the value in one reference field in a table within the app?  I have a field, OPCO, that has either A or B in it.  These letters reference which portion of our client we work with.  We have dedicated groups of people that strictly work for A or B, and then there are a few that work across both.  What I would like to do is define which projects team A can see and which team B can see based on this OPCO field.

I know I can do a custom role per table by choosing a field, but that is tedious.  Our Realm Admin has created a Group A and Group B but there is no way to modify what that means and what files they can see.

I can easily and the OPCO field to all tables, it's already in most, but I would hate to go through creating a custom role for each app in the View, Modify, and Fields column.
