New notification
I would like to hide the new notification next to new information that has put in. How do I do this?

- You can turn this off for yourself by clicking on your login-name (top right) and selecting My Preferences. The first checkbox on the next screen will turn them off.
For an Application-level all-user control, go to HOME < Settings < App Properties < Advanced Settings < Options and use the checkbox there.- Thank you!!
- So to borrow this thread... Can I set flags to remain more than 24 hours? I would to use them in lieu of email notifications in some cases.
- Those flags are notoriously mysterious as to the "rules" in the first place and the rules cannot be controlled, so not a good plan to use them.
- Ahh too bad. They would have been great but oh well. I appreciate the warning on that.
