ContributionsMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Quickbooks Online Pipeline - Add Invoice Line Item There is no option to append a line item to an existing invoice that that I've found. What I ended up doing is adding the line item into QuickBase (which I really didn't want to do) then update the invoice (it will resend all of the line items including the new one). Then I have it delete the added line item in QuickBase. ------------------------------ Mark Corcoran ------------------------------ Quickbooks Online Pipeline - Add Invoice Line Item I'm having difficulty figuring out how to add a line item to an existing QuickBooks Online Invoice using Pipelines. If I choose the action "update invoice" and put in the info for the line item, it over-writes all of the existing line item data, leaving me with just the one line I was trying to add. Is appending a line item to an existing invoice possible without have to resend all of the line items data again? Thanks in advance! Once I did that, the unwanted page breaks went away. I know nothing of CSS or HTML, so it took a lot of learning and picking my way though the lines of html to figure out what was going on. Many trial and error attempts and refreshes, but finally got it. I wish their was a better way to create a printable form from Quick Base data without paying a third party subscription. People have to be able to print stuff, and the exact form method is very non-user friendly. Mark ------------------------------ Mark Corcoran ------------------------------ Printing Issue with Exact FormI have an exact form page (used for quotes) that has been printing just fine for years. Now all of the sudden it is not printing correctly (even though it still displays correctly as a web page). For some reason when printing, I'm getting unwanted page breaks. I don't think it is anything in the exact form html code, because it has been working for years. Any clues as to what may have changed to made add the unwanted page break? It started with just one employee on his computer when using Chrome, but Edge worked fine. Now it is affecting every employee on both browsers. - no changes made to the exact form code. I'm not sure where to start looking for an issue, when it has been printing good for so long. Thank you. Mark Corcoran ------------------------------ Mark Corcoran ------------------------------ "based on location" Sales Tax RatesI'm wondering if anyone has figured a way to use the Quick Books Online (QBO) "based on location" sales tax rates in Quick Base (QB)? I created a sales order entry (Estimate) form for our company, but one of the things is needs to do is calculate the sales tax rates as "based on location" so it matches when exported to QBO. For years I have been successfully exporting sales orders from QB to QBO using Workato, using just a state table of current tax rates I have setup in QB. However, with things changing I need to make the switch to the "based on location" method of figuring the sales tax rates. I'm hoping it is possible to just query QBO to populate the tax info in the QB Estimate. Once it becomes an order, I can then export to QBO like I have been doing, and the sales tax amounts will match. Has anyone else tacked this issue? if so, any guidance would be appreciated. ------------------------------ Mark Corcoran ------------------------------Need Help with API_ChangeRecordOwner WebhookI'm writing a webhook that fires when the field [QBO Invoice ID] is changed in table "A" (ie.. not blank). The webhook is needed to change the record owner of a record in another table "B" where [QBO Invoice ID] is the key field. Here is the webhook: The error I'm getting is this: <?xml version="1.0" ?> <qdbapi> <action>API_ChangeRecordOwner</action> <errcode>21</errcode> <errtext>Unknown user</errtext> <errdetail>Sorry, no user billRec was found with the email address (or user name) of "Sean XXXX <60048862.dn96>".</errdetail> </qdbapi> Not sure why this is happening if I'm just using the user from table "A" and changing it on table "B". Any help would be appreciated. "javascript:" & "$.get('" & $URL & "',function(){" & "location.reload(true);" & "});" & "void(0); It has worked great over the years, but now Quick Base is no longer going to support javascript in URL Formula fields. My question is how do I get the same functionality? Am I supposed to create a code page with just this snippet on it and call it from the formula field? - I've never created a code page (never had too) - so calling one is new to me as well.. Is there a better way to do the refresh? - actually if it just refreshed the child records (embedded report) that would be even better. Basically I have an embedded report (ie.. invoice line items - child records).. and each line item has a button to "copy" or "delete" the line item, then refresh so it is displayed on the screen. Thanks for any help or insight on how I can keep my line item buttons working. Mark ------------------------------ Mark Corcoran ------------------------------ Lookup (relationship) from Multiselect field to TableWow.. even the subject sounds confusing. haha. Here is what I'm trying to accomplish. I have a contact list (table) and in that table I added a multi-select field for "marketing lists". The values for this field are populated from another table called "marketing tags". When I add a new record to the "marketing tags" table, I use pipelines to create a new "tag" in MailChimp. Once the tag is created in MailChimp, I get the "tag" ID and enter it into the "marketing tags" table in a field called "TagID". (FYI, i couldn't find a way to retrieve the tag id from mailchimp via api (webhook), so I just do that part manually). So, the end goal of this is that when you view a contact, you can select multiple marketing lists for them to be assigned to in MailChimp. So, if you select "business" from the multi-select field, it would assign the "business" tag to that contact in MailChimp. Where I'm having issues is looking up the "TagID" associated with "business" from the "marketing tags" table (via relationship?), so that it can be used when building the pipeline to assign that tag to the contact. Hope I this makes sense, and I understand how this works with single data fields. but when I have multiple tags for one contact, how do I lookup multiple "TagID" ... Thanks ------------------------------ Mark Corcoran ------------------------------ Pipelines - MailChimp List SegmentingI'm trying to setup a Pipeline to my MailChimp account, and it appears that the segmenting parameter available though Pipelines (List) is the Audience List (ie... no ability to set tags within the audience list). I'm I understanding this correctly? I would like to maintain just 1 audience list and be able to segment that list using Tags, is this possible with Pipelines? I'm pretty sure the MailChimp API Supports assigning tags to the contact. Thanks Mark ------------------------------ Mark Corcoran ------------------------------
