Can I fix the number of records in a table and fix some of the field entries? E.g. a table with 42 records with the first three fields completed.

I am trying to build a marketing database. Every week I have a fixed number of site placements which I can populate with 'spotlights' to promote products. There are also regional landing pages so it is: 7 regions, 4 landing pages with 7-9 placements on each. I want to be able to have a table with a set number of records for each week with some of the fields pre populated with fixed values e.g Region: UK, Page: Sport, Position: 1. Can I fix some of the record entries along with fixing the number of records in each weekly table? Also, am I able to save this as a master template then copy it to get a new weekly table each time?

There is a wizard which can make a button for you to copy a standard set of children from a Standardard template Master Parent  to a new Parent

http://www.quickbase.com/user-assistance/Default.html#copy_master_detail.html

You have not said what you relationships are, as to if these records have a Parent, but for example if you had a Parent record for the Sunday of the week and set up a specials Sunday date of Sunday something in say year 2000, then you could maintain that as your template.

Then when you create a new Sunday Parent record, then you could push a button that record and it would create the children using the Template Sunday record's children.
