Does Quick Base support fuzzy dates, i.e. a date field where only the month and year is known?

I have the need to track club member positions including their start and ending dates.  But often I only know the month and year, or the school semester and year (e.g. Fall 2016), or just the year.

Is there a simple way to track the start and end dates in a way that will still allow sorting and calculating length, etc. when the full dates are known?

p.s. why does this forum erase the description when pressing "log in?"  Way to lose a bunch of questions. Ugh.

So are you saying that initially the exact date is not known, but later on it will become known?

The standard way to do this is to just pick midnight on the first day of the month.
Hi Dan,

How are you?

Can you take a look at my question which is related to the Hylo Technique?
