Where is the dialer that is used within Quickbase? Is it an add-on? If so, what is it called? I do not see any add-ons that have a dialer/softphone in their description.

I've been told that there is a dialer within Intuit that I could use instead of integrating a 3rd party interface. I just want to know what it is called and where to find it. I see it mentioned in the forum but no reference to where it is found.

I'm unaware of any native quickbase dialer/softphone.  I've only ever seen 3rd parties offer it.

The answer above is correct. There is nothing native in QuickBase for dialing as this would require a phone service behind the scenes to actually place the calls. We can definitely facilitate a VoIP integration with any provider as long as that provider has some sort of web service or other integration methodology.

Trinity has recently developed a QuickBase integration with the RingCentral VoIP solution.  Inbound calls open the associated Contact record (or ticket or whatever you want us to tie it to) in your QuickBase app.  Outbound calls can be initiated right from your QuickBase app and dial using RingCentral.  If you are still looking please get hold of me at sburday@trinityis.com
