I currently use the Image Onload Technique to embed Tableau Dashboards & Reports within my Quickbase Forms. WilI the Image onload technique work with the new Mercury UI?

I have been told that the IOL technique will not work in Mercury but that QuickBase recognizes the utility of users needing to add JavaScript to pages and will provide some other mechanism to do so. No further details were supplied. The main concern that was expressed to me is that QuickBase does not want the have a new release and have a user's injecting JavaScript into the page break because they relied on some DOM or scripting detail that changed with the new release.

I am not concerned as there are other ways to accomplish the same thing that have not been made public and Service Workers will work with Mercury and it offers even greater capabilities (eg Service Workers can be used on every page). Also there is nothing QuickBase can do without a major architectural change to prevent using Service Workers.
