I would like to send data to an outside non-registered user and ask for edits.  Is there a work around? Can the data that only they need to see be exported, sent via email and then can that new data be uploaded back into the same fields? I am a new user. :)

Well pretty much you would need to open up that tale to everyone on the internet and send them a link to the records which need updating.  The User interface setting for their Role would be set to show nothing, but this is not true security as a somewhat curious or technical user could guess their way into other records.

You could email out a record from another parallel table and when the record was edited and saved, then notify the internal user and give them a button to copy the data across to the real table once it has been vetted.

...or you could use our EF+ and DocuSign for QuickBase add-ons in tandem.  Use EF+ to generate a document with the data for the external user to review, next to each piece of data in that document we could place a field for them to enter updated data, once completed that new data can update the existing data.  So EF+ creates the document and DS for QB sends it out via email to the external user for him/her to update.
