I built a ticketing system for our department so we can receive requests from employees for assistance they may need. Once my manager reviews the ticket and approves and assigns it to a team member for them to work on it, I want the Approve/Deny buttons to disappear on the Internal Ticket Review Form's "Edit" view we see when we click on the ticket to open it  once the ticket has been approved. I also don’t want the Approve/Deny instructional text to show after that either. How can I do this?Thank you.

I'm creating a document template and I want to add a barcode of a text field.  I've added this to the source directly from a rich text formula field. The resulting document is displayed as What is the proper notation to get the field "UDI" into the <img src....? Thanks.

Hello,I was wondering when a user enters demographic info (i.e., First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, etc.) on a form, is there a way to autocomplete / autopopulate a user's info? For context, this is a concern because we have staff members who often enters multiple entries for the same clients/members on QuickBase and they frequently have to reenter the same demographic info. Can non-users info be saved or accessed in an easier way? Please let me know if I need to elaborate. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone!I recently finished my Quickbase certifications.  How do I go about getting those connected with my profile here?  Thanks!

My app has a button that redirects to a documents table, but I need that to be opened in edit mode. If I use the button, it automatically switches back to view mode. If I choose edit mode from the documents table it refreshes me to the top of the form. There is a checkbox I want people to use next to the documents table, but the only way they can get it to work is if they tab over 10 tabs to the documents table - making the button that takes them there immediately useless if they need to use the checkbox. The button uses a formula to make it work: "https://thefamilyplace.quickbase.com/nav/app/buf7b3sig/table/buf7b5kxp/action/dr?rid="& URLEncode( [Record ID#])&"&rl=dvb&page=21" how do I adjust this so it opens in edit mode? Thank you for your help!

I have an EOTI user and role. They can only access records where the key = valid. This much works as expected. The problem is on records they can access, if they click a file attachment (just a field on the same record), it returns a Quickbase not found error page. Doesn't let them access the attachment. In the Quickbase docs it says:"You can use the EOTI group to provide access to file attachments at a more granular level than what Quickbase offers, that is, using Quickbase without custom code or API access from a separate environment."So it seems like it should work. What am I missing?

Hello,Is it possible to create anchor links on forms? To have a button that will bring you down to a specific spot further down the form?Thanks------------------------------Mackenzie Phillips------------------------------

I have a lookup table that has a relationship with 2 other tables (Table 1 & Table 2).There are 2 different IDs in my lookup table that I need to check in Table 1 & Table 2.I need to check Table 1 if one of the IDs exists, if yes then I need a checkbox ticked.  For the other ID, I need to check if it exists in Table 2, if yes then some other checkbox is ticked.  How do I go about doing this?

Good Afternoon,How do I get an image to display in a document template?  Right now all I'm getting is the file name in text. Please see attachments for current document template set up and result.

I have a form (based on a parent table) with 3 embedded reports (based on the same child table). The children reports are the same except that they have one different filter each.I need the Total of a column to calculate another column (class % in my picture). If I use the summary field in the parent table, it gives the total of the all three tables. (See first picture)I also tried with the report formula but I have the same issue.Do that Total field have a name that we can re-use in the formula ?You will find attached some pictures of my form for your understanding

Hi!Use case: On opening a form (new or existing record) I want to auto-populate a field (e.g. timestamp field with now() and a user field with currentUser()) when the fields are currently empty.I tried the following:❌ A trigger that is just user == <other> with a blank field --> should be true on open but does not do anything❌ A custom when formula with the content `true` --> definetly true on open, but does not do anything❌ Record ID != -1 (also always true) does not do anything✅ A trigger "when checkbox is checked" using a helper checkbox: As soon as user checks, checkbox, the field fills correctly. But this is not the intended behaviour🤔 The options to change field value after save and validation also seems to work (mostly) But this is not the intended behaviour.Any way of enabling this pattern of "fill a field when form is opened (and field is empty)" would be helpful.

Hi,I have a Summary field set up as a Combined Text Comment (Rich Text) field. The output is currently wrapped in tags.Does anyone know how I can remove those tags?Example:  <p>Market is currently not working</p>  <p>tets1 </p>

At the top of the app there is a button that says "Add new record in any table". When a user clicks this button a drop down of every table is shown to them, even tables I have hidden from their role. Is there a way to remove this button completely or at least hide the tables I don't want them seeing?

I have a formula button whose intended purpose is to check a box on the record (to start a pipeline) then redirect to a code page that is coded to pause, then check if a status field has changed, if not, pause again. If the field is changed it returns the user to the form originally launched from.I'm trying to cobble together different posts/search results as I haven't been able to find any direct examples of my need. This formula works to open the code page and passes the correct parameters for checking the status, but it doesn't check the box and thus the pipeline never runs and the page never closes.var text codePageID = "6"; // Replace with your actual code page IDvar text recordID = ToText([Record ID#]);var text currentStatus = URLEncode([Charges Pipeline Status]); // Replace with your field's namevar text url = URLRoot() & "db/" & AppID() & "?a=dbpage&pageid=" & $codePageID & "&rid=" & $recordID & "&initialStatus=" & $currentStatus;"<

Hey there. I'm trying to build a form that would be used during interviews with customers that represent ISPs or "networks." Each customer would be a new Network and that Network can have many Communities, Activities, Statistics, or Payments Plans associated with it. I'm running into several issues:When a network is new at the start of the interview, a record will not exist yet, so there cannot be a recordID yet. So, let's say an Interviewer enters information for Network X on page 1, then moves to page 2 to enter Communities affiliated with Network X. They would hit on the "Add Community" button page 2. A pop up opens but there isn't a network affiliated with the new Community record. I'm pretty sure I can get around this by making a rule or a button that forces the Network entry to be saved before moving to page 2. But I can't find a conclusive way to make a Save and Keep Working button and the default button is hidden at the end of the form. Let's say I save the network before

Hi,I have the following Code page.  Basically I want the user to enter in text and search.  Then the result finds their input and matches with field id 256 and return field id 29.  I will replace anything with a "XXXX".  When the user searches they get "Target field not found in response." instead of the value.  For knowledge the user should enter in "mickey.mouse" and 256 holds that value :When i simply put this in the URL I do get a response:https://XXXXX-XXXXX.quickbase.com/db/XXXXXX?a=API_DoQuery&query={%27256%27.EX.%27mickey.mouse%27}&clist=29Thank you so much for helping me!<!DOCTYPE html><html><head>    <title>Quickbase Data Retriever</title></head><body>    <label for="inputField">Enter Record ID or Search Term:</label><br>    <input type="text" id="inputField"><br><br>    <button id="retrieveButton">Retrieve Data</butto

Hello,I have a Formula Text that calculates and displays data based on the numbers users enter in two other numeric fields. Example: When a user enters a number in my Numerator and Denominator fields, my formula field divides those numbers and then displays the answer in the Percentage field (as shown in the screenshot below). Is there a way to format the answer to two (2) decimal places, so it's shown as something like 7.33 and not 7.3333333 ? Please let me know.See the code I used for my formula field below:var Number Numerator = [Numerator] ;var Number Denominator = [Denominator] ;ToText(($Numerator / $Denominator) & " %")

I am working on connecting MethodCRM to Quickbase so that I can pull field data from a MethodCRM form and replicate it in a Quickbase form. I have attached images showing my current pipeline setup. The challenge is building the URL for retrieving records. Right now, the URL will pull the first 100 records from MethodCRM, but I have to manually change the URL to get the next batch of records. Example: rest.method.me/api/v1/tables/Contacts?skip=10&top=10This works, but after pulling the first 10 records, I want the pipeline to automatically update so the next run changes top=10 to top=20 (and so on), allowing the pipeline to continue pulling subsequent batches without manual edits.

Please help write a formula to take estimated hours time different frequencies (daily, weekly, monthly) and calculate monthly hours.I currently have box for estimated hours, and radio buttons for different frequencies (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly).

I have 3 tables in my Quickbase App,Assignments (PhoneNum is key),Member (PhoneNum_MbrID is key but has PhoneNum field),Calls (Record Id is key but has PhoneNum)Assignments is connected to Member (one to many)Assignments is connected to Calls (one to many)I have to create a table report from Calls table and pull all member table data. How can I achieve this? Please help.

I have a billing application that tracks Assets, their monthly rates, and the Rental Charges. I'm finding instances when the same field doesn't display the same value. Example: Sub-Total field when viewing that field on an embedded report shows one number, but if I view the record directly, it shows another. The difference is nearly always a $0.01 difference. But this isn't the only field that this happens to.So I'm seeking any tips or general good practices I should consider when creating calculation fields to ensure the data is consistent across the application. I currently have nearly 15 different calculations that a record may need to compute, store and display.I've played around with using ROUND in some places, but that seems to cause additional problems.

I have a parent table - Customers - there is a field for Sales tax rate. This rate can change periodically, so in my Charges table (that looks up the Customer) I am looking up the sales tax rate from the related Customer and then placing that value in a snapshot field. Charge calculations then use the snapshot field for the tax rate that way, if the Customer rate changes, historical charges will still be correct. From time-to-time, new Charges are created before the Customer tax rate was modified, so now the new Charges are out-of-sync with the correct value. The only way I know to correct this is to edit the charge, remove the customer link, save and keep working, then reselect the customer. Is there a way to build that logic into a button that would accomplish the same thing? Essentially turning 5 clicks into 1?

We have our windows ad users synced to quickbase via Azure AD/Entra ID and it is working fine but have run into our first snag which I haven't found anything directly addressing. We had a user change her name and we have updated it in on prem AD which synced to Azure AD. Everything appears to be working normally for a week except for quickbase. She went through the sign in process in quickbase which pushed her to the identity provider sign in, the Azure sign in window comes up and she signs in successfully with her new email address and password. But then in quickbase she has no access to anything. Looking into user management it appears that Quickbase has generated a new user with her new email address, it still says "External authentication ID: <her new email>" so I assume that it's imported through provider management as usual however it did not transfer her paid quickbase seat or any of her app access or groups. My read on this is that quickbase is using the primary e
