I have a List - User field called "Leads" in Property table and want to build an automation to create individual record in another table called "Team Role", so that users added to Leads field can be displayed in a table row. The search pipeline step allows creation of  record for the first user added to the list, but skips the other values from the List - User. If there is any alternate approach for this, please let me know.

I have a pipeline that logs when a record was changed in a tracker table. I need the date/time of the change to be accurate to the second. I can't have a pipeline copy the Date Modified of the source record to a Date/Time field in the status change record as we would lose the seconds.I can't use the Date Created of the record created by the pipeline as this and the user's action are offset by a second or two. I need this to be when the user made the change, not when the pipeline created the record.I created a Formula - Date/Time field in the source table that is ToUnixTime([Date Modified]), then the pipeline copies that to a Number field in the status change record. This works, however I'm in search of a more elegant solution than creating a formula field in every table that needs this.Is there a Jinja expression that will give me the ToUnixTime() of Date Modified without having to create a formula field?

I do not want users assigned a "viewer" role or "participant" role to be able to have access to the Admin Console.    *My Apps - Account Admin Manage my account - Admin ConsoleI would like "admin" role to be able to share app with users but also not be able to access the Admin Console.I do not want to "Deny" users because I want them to have access to log in to the app and use it, I just do not want everyone seeing the Admin Console information. Is this possible?

Hi i table 1 app - 3 tables, table 1, table 2, table 3now i have relation of one to many from table 1 to table 3. this relationship is old and has been working fine but suddenly i cant see the associated records from table 3 at the end of the record in table 1. they use to populate properly earlier. i have not changed anything in the relationship, cant understand why getting this error, it says "sorry...error retreiving data Attached the image as well. Only thing i can think of is another admin, was asked to delete all the unwanted reports so he may have deleted the associated report from table 3. if yes, how can i recreate the same. ? or any other reason for this problem.

I have a 1 app - and 1 table. there are 5 usersall the users have access to all the fields on the form on the table to view or edit the fields in the own record. So permission is view and modify all fields. and record level restriction is where owner is the logged in user. There is record level resctriction so user 1 cannot see user 2 records.i want to make a report where all the users can view all the records 5 particular fields. but cant view or modify the record of other users. However i want to create a visibility report to show all records from today to all the users but only a few limited fields. I have created the report, disable view and edit to the records and given all records access to the user. But the problem is if the user 1 will do advance search randomly, they can view all records from default search results. If I restrict that then no user will be able to open the records from the search which will be a blocker. how do i get past this ?if i restrict field level the

Is anyone aware of a way to hide the default edit (displays a pencil) and save buttons on new forms? I have added ifv=1 to my URL to open the record and built my own buttons to mimic the default set of buttons (with some of my own enhancements), but I still get the default edit and save buttons.------------------------------John Jordan------------------------------

Jim! ToText(UserToId( [QB Username]))Is anyone using a QB Formula field to display the user id to users in a report? The User Id looks like this "51817980.d2k9" (I changed this to something madeup, apologies if its your id.)I have the admin console connected table and can sync the used id value to any app I want, which is my backup plan. Before I make that change I am checking to see if there is something I missed.Use case:We have users added to an App via a default role in a Group provisioned via SCIM. Some users may need to have an elevated Role other than the default Role. Currently the elevation is indicated by app data managers checking a box on a record. The check box indicates these users require an elevated role change. When users requiring access to the elevated role are indicated, someone has to compare the record in the table and the role in the users table and align or normalize the values ~ that someone also has to be knowledgeable about the process.I have found several Giv

EstherLaVielle bsimon_personal Second day in a row, I opened the calendar event in Outlook and logged on to the Zoom meeting. There were about 10 people in the room waiting for the meeting to start. Since it just happened yesterday I asked, "is Esther on this meeting?" LauraT said "no" and so I did what Esther said and went to the Events page and looked for Pipelines. I did not notice the date had changed, it took me back to the same event. Oh I guess the event date changed.I have now deleted all my Outlook calendar events. I guess this means I have to come to the Events page on a regular basis and check to see if anything has changed.IMO this new Meeting method adds Grey work and reduces value for the customer. My advice, if there is interest, is to make a plan and stick to it.

Hi -- I'm trying to create what I thought would be a simple rule to display a message when a record is opened, if a field is set to a certain value.  I can't get the rule to work, but as I have been troubleshooting, I have found certain field types work and others don't.  So far, I see that checkbox fields seem to work,  but formula-based checkboxes and multiple choice text fields don't.   Can someone explain why this is, and if there is a work-around?  I would like my message to be based on the a formula-based checkbox being checked.

I would like to make a very simple HTML form (i.e., first name, last name, phone number, email address) that posts directly to a non-sensitive QB app. I am doing this in lieu of a mobile form in order to make it appear seamless on the related website, vs the more clunky mobile form link or iFrame window. I have no access to server-side configurations, so I am prepared to expose a user token in the HTML. Does anyone have any code that they could share that would give me an example of how to do this? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I have a map report on a dashboard that sits in table with 18K of records. Is there a limit to the number of unique filters that I can use to sort this map report on the dashboard?

I want to determine the percentage of the month completed; for example if today  is the 14th, and there are 30 days in April the percentage is 0.46. To keep the formula simple I can assume all months have 31 days--so Today()/31. I am struggling with the formual type, is it date is it number?

Hi, I have a rich text formula field with an IF function to display specific text when a criteria is met. I want to add a link to a file in between the text output that opens on a different window. I need the display text to show as a hyperlink.Example: If ([Platform] = "A", "Complete all tasks assigned for 'Priority Sites' once every 2 months", "No action necessary for this year")Where 'Priority Sites' is the display text for the SharePoint web link https://sharepoint/prioritysites.pdfFrom what I could find online, I guess I have to create a hyperlink field to store the web address but I'm not too sure how that works. Can someone provide a step by step guide on how to achieve the desired output?

I am trying to write a simple pipeline that once a record is saved to the Transactions table a pipeline runs to modify the transaction name and add to end " - " and the year the record was created.I can use the record created field but that is inclusive of the full date and time and I am only looking for the year. Thanks, Eric

On the old style forms, I could show child records and say "allow edit".  Then, when I clicked edit on the parent, it opened the child record grid edit table for me to add many new records.   They all carried down and created a parent relationship. In the new forms, it doesn't do that.  I can hit Grid Edit and it pops up a new window which lets me add records, but the parent relationship isn't auto created.  I'd have to go carry down that field.   Both the pop out and needing to carry down that relationship are a huge pain.   Is there a work around?

Hello,I was wondering is there a way to create a copy of a Dashboard I have in one app and move it to another new app I created. Example: In App 1, I have a page/dashboard named "Clinical Admin Dashboard" with various widgets and images. I would like to copy and use that same dashboard as a template in App 2 so I may revise and update it for the new app. Is there a way to do this? Please let me know what suggestions you may have. Thanks in advance!

I have a field [Types].  there can be A, B, C, D, E, or F.I need a summary report about these [Types]  but the output needs to show, A, B, C+D, and exclude E and F.  I'm using filters to exclude E and F.So I'm trying to use the Report Formula to create a new field [Performance] and using an If statement to say:if( [Type]="A","A", [Type]="B","B", [Type]="C","G", [Type]="D","G") The hope was that by renaming C and D to G, it would add those counts together when I add this Report Formula to the Column Group.  but its only adding "C" not "D".    Is this possible and I just have the wrong formula, or am I just going about this all the wrong way? Thanks,A

Is it possible to have fields built in a table be used as individual options based off selections in another table? For example - would it be possible to have a table that houses the item and options and additional options based on the option selected and then relate this  have this table relate to another table to display and allow the user to select only certain options and additional options?I've tried to visualize this in a spreadsheet...in the example below if the user selects pink from the options in the proxy field it won't provide any additional options, however if they select green then they will be able to select additional options and so on...Goaloptionsadditional optionsPick a color?Pink  GreenBlue  Purple  OrangePick another color?Black  RedWhite  Pink  TealHopefully this makes sense...- LB

I have a text field in one table that I need to use to populate a multi-select text field in another table via Pipelines. The text field contains a semi-colon-delimited list of people, including their name and title separated by a comma (Person 1, AA; Person 2, BB). This format is required for our purposes and cannot be changed.I have already created a multi-select formula helper field in my original table using the Split() function to translate these values to the correct format prior to using Pipelines to copy them to the other table. In my original table, the formula multi-select values appear correctly:Person 1, AAPerson 2, BBHowever, once Pipelines copies the value, it seems to be exploding and recreating the multi-select options and now also considering the commas to be a delimiter, so my resulting values look like:Person 1AAPerson 2BBI assume this is a bug and not intended behavior so I will submit a support ticket, but in the meantime, does anyone have a workaround for how to g

Hi,The use case for my application is for users to track their testing results - there is a parent table for requests and a child table for activities (i.e., test results). I am wanting to create a field within the Parent table that lists all of the people who have submitted an activity for the parent request. Any ideas?

Hello,I have a URL Formula field I created that I'm trying to use as a Delete button on one of my tables, but I keep getting this "A formula cannot end with an assignment to a variable declaration." error message when I try saving it.The formula I am using is this:var text Delete = URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "?a=API_DeleteRecord&apptoken=*XXXXXXX*=" & [Record ID#];Does anybody know what I should change? Please let me know.

I have a child table (created by form engine) which contains a field that will be the (custom) key to its parent. The child table may have one or several records which should relate to one parent record.I created a pipeline that does correctly create the parent records, but it seems slow, and we could have many people entering these child records at one time.  It is using an upsert (on rows created in the last five minutes, currently) to handle the fact that if there are multiple child records, only the first one should create a parent. I saw this discussion, below, and that's what led me to use the upsert - because of the comments about contention causing pipeline errors in this scenario if another strategy was used.Automation to create record if does not exist | Qrew DiscussionsThis discussion is from several years ago though - is an upsert still the best way to go in this scenario? And is there any way to make it faster?

I really want to batch UPSERT to a unique field in Pipelines.I am using RestfulAPI to get a report ~ the data is filtered at the source. ChatGPT has shown me {{b.json.metadata.totalRecords > 0 }} is how I know my report has values.I want to iterate over the JSON, Restful API returns JSON ... I cannot select the Restful API as an input for the iterate step. Why must I add a FetchJSON step in front of the iterate step and essentially move the values from the Restful output to the fetch and then to the iterate?
