Will @mentions be supported in pipelines whether posting to a RTF or MS Teams?

Hello!I'm diving into someone else's app, trying to wrap my head around their reporting needs. The previous admin created several "checkbox" fields that are in reality, types of answers to a master field. I need to tally each checkbox and ideally, I'd love to get this all on one report. I theorize the reason they did individual checkboxes vs. one multi-select field is because, in my own experience with multi-select, a report of such won't cleanly count how many times each item was selected, but will report out instances of the specific combination of what was selected. In my example, I'm tallying types of support received, where there are 10 sub-types as check-boxes, so ideally this report shows the exact count of each type of service counted. Please and thank you!

Has anyone else run into this issue? We created a new style form for desktop and applied it to mobile as well.On desktop, when a user saves a new record by selecting the "Save" option (not Save and new or any of the other available options), they will re-direct as normal. But on mobile, when the user clicks the native save button that follows them down the form, the record saves, a "record saved" message briefly shows at the top of the screen, and then the user remains on the Add Record page with all of the information they just recorded. If you do not notice the message that flashes on and disappears from the screen, it appears as though no action occurred, which naturally makes a User want to click the save button again. This is causing many duplicate records to be created and causing confusion for users as they are unsure with what to do next.We created a work-around by adding a Rich Text field that will complete the save action and redirect the user as intended, but we are unabl

I want a pipeline to do the following:Go to a table in an application ASearch for records meeting a certain criteria in that table (specifically, the number of records that were completed in the previous month)Count the number of records foundGo to application BCreate a record in a table in application BPut the count of the records found in application A in a field on the form (fields: 1 application A name, 2 is count of records found, 3 date the pipeline ran)I want the pipeline to run this monthly on a scheduled date. Can someone kindly tell me the steps I would need to include in the pipeline to make this work? High-level is all I'm looking for. Thank you!

I am trying to improve pipeline performance and need guidance on the best approach please. When approx 1000 records are created from csv import using ImportExport action in TABLE A, the pipeline should look for TABLE B ID based on a text field in TABLE A and relate. Attached sample pipeline. When records are imported, the pipeline runs, but noticed the traffic warning. Bulk upsert may not work as each pipeline trigger is on single record update.

Hi all,I have a drop down field with choices for a 'job status'. I've recently refined the list of choices, and I want to know if there's a way to force a user to have to select one of these new choices next time they update the job record.Currently, they can leave the existing status in place and save the record anyway, with the choice highlighting in red in the report. Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance.

Hi,What is the proper work around to allow duplicate entries with a field being marked as "Must Be Unique"? Thanks!

Greetings, everyone!I'm at my wits end trying to get a redirect to properly fire in a Formula URL button. I'm using the URL as a "Submit" button that changes the phase of the record, then I want the app to redirect to a report. All I can get is a redirect to the app homepage which is not intuitive and undersirable. Here is the URL Formula:var text submitURL = URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "?a=API_EditRecord&rid=" & [Record ID#] & "&_fid_34=Items&apptoken=<token hidden>";var text redirectURL = URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "/a=q&qid=7";$submitURL & "&rdr=" & URLEncode($redirectURL)Can someone help me figure out what's wrong with this implentation?Thank you!

I am wanting to place an image on a form.  I have many forms and each version may have a different image.  I was wondering if it is possible to set a Multiple Choice field to a specific value using the URL the user clicks on to open the form?  My thought is that if I can set the field to the correct value then I can determine which image to show on the form based on the field value that has been set.  Is there a better way to accomplish this? Thanks,Brian

I am building a code page that will be connected to a button that a user will click in an app. I am trying to get away from using the Quickbase client that uses the old XML API (var qdb = new QuickBaseClient();) and use the RESTful API instead. How do I get authenticated without storing a user token or having the user pass a user token in? Using the old method it seemed to just automatically authenticate based on whatever user was logged in. I never stored or passed in credentials or a user token to use the old client, but it seems like the restful API gives me a 401 authentication error unless I pass in a user token. Can anyone shed any light on this issue?------------------------------Steve Wellauer------------------------------

I have a client that receives donation inquiries via a webform that posts to Quickbase and sends individual notifications to the relevant client personnel. Their prior system was through their website hosting vendor, which sent an e-mail to a shared e-mail account. However, the vendor's e-mail protocol included a Reply-To header that allowed them to reply to the e-mail address of the donor rather than the generic notify@ account that sent the email. For those that are unfamiliar, email clients use the Reply-To header to pre-populate the "To" field when a user clicks "Reply." If the Reply-To header is not present, the client will typically default to the "From" address. As best I can tell, Quickbase's e-mail protocol and notifications do not support Reply-To, which is a major headache for this use case where I would like the Reply-To value to be the e-mail address of the donor submitting the form.Does anyone know why Quickbase does not support Reply-To or if it is on the roadmap? Also, wh

I'm trying to use"UserToName([Current PR Assigned], "LF"))", however if there is no user in the field, it comes back with invalid.  How do I get it to just be blank if there is no user?I have tried this and it says expecting user but found text for the UserToName part. If([Current PR Assigned Is null]="yes",[Blank User],UserToName([Current PR Assigned], "LF"))Any ideas?

I have three text lists as input:List A = [A, B, C]List B = [E, F]List C = [G, H]I want to combine these into a single text list as output, like this:[A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H]The output field is of type formula-multiselect. Could anyone please suggest the best way to combine these lists within a QuickBase formula?

Hello, I've inherited an app that utilizes radio buttons and now needs new questions added to the current numbered questions in the form. However, when I add these new radio button fields it is showing them as "answered" in the legacy records. I don't have a default set to these fields but somehow they are all defaulted to "yes" in the legacy records that didn't even have this question prior. Not sure how to remedy this. LB

Beginning an investigation into using FF to replace MCF Template builder since QB is deprecating.Has anyone in the community setup templates in FF and how hard is it to use and manage compared to other solutions?

I have a multiple choice field, PICC Request Status, that is also a logged field. Most recent choices are at the top and on their own line.Trim(Right([PICC Request Status],"]")) pulls out the first logged status with the dashes: --------------Needs ReviewThe current field contains-- [MAY-13-25 Molly Smith] --------------Closed-- [MAY-12-25 Molly Smith] --------------Action In Progress-- [MAY-12-25 Molly Smith] --------------In Review-- [MAY-12-25 Molly Smith] --------------Needs ReviewThe end result of the formula should just be Closed. What do I need to adjust in my formula?

I have a form rule that automatically puts text into a rich text field but I would like the rich text field height bigger. How can I do that? I added the the formala rule to set the height to a certain number of pixels but it doesn't seem to be affecting it.

I’m trying to create a formula that calculates the completion percentage based on a series of multi-select checkboxes. For example, if there are four checkboxes and three of them are selected, I’d like the formula to return 75%. Is there a way to achieve this in Quickbase? Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thank you in advance!

When making relationships between parent and children records I understand how to add additional lookups. But when you do that then those fields need to be "updated" when adding a new child. What I am seeking is a way that when a child record is created, and related to a specific parent, that the child record would show the value of additional fields from the parent.Example:Parent record has Name, Address, Phone Number, Favorite ColorChild record has Child name, lookup field to select parent which would bring down the Parent Name and Favorite ColorCurrently when setting the relationship I would connect on Related Parent then add the lookups for Parent Name and Favorite Color, but when actually creating the new Child record once I select the related parent, the Parent Name and Favorite Color are not populating. If I want those to display the value, I have to manually update those fields (thus not benefiting from setting the relationship to the Parent). What am I missing? This seems like

Hello,I have a form with two fields named "Year" and "Quarter". The Quarter field is a dropdown with options such as "Q1", "Q2", etc. The Year field is a numeric field where users enter a year (i.e., 2025).What I need help with is displaying a error message when users have duplicate Quarters for a single given year. Example: If a user has a record with "Q1" for the Quarter and "2025" for the Year, they cannot enter another record for 2025 with Q1. They may only select "Q2", "Q3" or so on for 2025.Hopefully I explained this well enoguh for someone to understand. If I can elaborate more, please let me know.

I'm pretty sure this is a simple many-to-many relationship, but my brain hitting a wall and cannot comprehend how to set this up.We have an app in development where employees can submit reports of things happening in their day to day. Each report is then "assigned" to a person or department from a Responder table to follow up. I most cases, each report will only have one Responder so I have a normal one to many relationship set up currently. Now, occasionally, we have a situation where there will be a Primary Responder, but another department/s or person/people are included for line of sight/further conversation, ie Secondary Responder/s. I would like to have two fields, one for primary and one for secondary so I can differentiate between the two when the Pipeline kicks out the email to everyone. Is this a simple many-to-many relationship or is this going to be a bit more complex? Thank you!

I will be creating a new app. In one table, is it possible to have a form with around 50 pages, and each page would have anywhere from approx 10 to 50 fields (probably only a few pages would have 30-50 fields, most pages would have 10-20).Therefore, the total number of fields in the form would be anywhere from approx 1,000 to 2,500. Of that total, around 200 fields would be derived fields (formulas). I would also like to have form rules that hide certain pages based on a field selection. NOTE: for each record, only about 60-100 fields would be populated. Are there limits that would prevent me from adding that many fields? Or could so many fields cause performance or other issues, like problems with form rules functioning properly? While it is possible for us to pull out most fields into other tables and connect to the main table using relationships, for our users ease of use and ease of reporting, we are hoping to contain all fields in one form in one table.

I am pretty new to qb and am currently trying to create an app to help my department track a student's requested thesis committee.  The (hopeful) process:  student will submit form with their identifying info, proposed thesis title, then choose their requested thesis supervisor, and selected reader, both fields pull from the same list of faculty (though if someone is chosen in one field they will not appear in list in 2nd field - that's for another time to figure out). So in trying to build something I came up with two different setups and am wondering which people think would be best.  Which do you think will be better longterm.  Attached are screenshots of both relationship diagrams.  Hopefully they are decipherable.

I'm trying to get an embedded (report link) Grid Edit report field to return a pre-filtered conditional dropdown list similar to how a Form field can filter based on a report.  This is a Legacy Form. In screen shot 1 one can see a conditional dropdown list of Standard Deliverables (conditional on Discipline) that filters out Obsolete (checkbox field) deliverables by using the Form's "When Used for data entry:"  filtered dropdown report. (filtered Obsolete not equal checked)I'm trying to replicate this behavior in an Embedded Grid Edit report, however, the full list of deliverables including the obsolete deliverables are showing up (eg. 3300 Utilities and 3610 Fabrication Drawings) and there doesn't seem to be an obvious method to pre-filter this dropdown list (ie. pre-filtered report).  I've done some reading on the subject in these discussions and the following discussion seems closest  (https://community.quickbase.com/discussions/quickbase-discussions/embedde

Hello,I have a Quickbase app where a single child table is connected to three separate parent tables. Each parent table represents a different employee group, and the child table is set up to pull employee information from all three. In the form for the child table, I want to be able to look up and select employees from any of the three parent tables. However, I can only select from the first parent table I connected—its lookup field is active. The lookup fields for the other two parent tables appear grayed out and are not selectable, even though they are all connected in the same way, using the employee name as a lookup field. As shown in the screenshot, only the first table’s name field is selectable, while the others are disabled. What might be causing this behavior, and how can I make all three lookup fields usable in the form?Thank you!
