Quickbase newbie needs help

I can't post to Community from my work account
Okay, I have a question on QB tables with statistics and use of possibly moving averages. However I keep coming into the Community portal through my builder account, at least I think I am. After I post I will know for sure because I don't have an avatar on my builder account. Predecessors - conditional drop-down or selection?
Hello, I'm using predecessors in tasks, but when I go to select a preceding task, it gives me a list of ALL tasks, not just ones actually associated to the specific project I'm in. Is there a way to make the pop-up list of available predecessors limit itself to the tasks within the same project? Surpassing 500mb limit for tables
Hello, I am working on a project for my company, we are pushing NOTE_TXT data into a QB table to be read by our customers as part of a larger application. We're still developing right now. I am not the QB developer here, I am responsible for the data. It was discovered that we are going to surpass the 500mb limit on the table very quickly. The data we want to send in is already as lean as we can make it, the only thing I can think of to make it leaner is to either remove records, or truncating NOTE_TXT fields. Questions 1. Can the 500mb limit be increased? Is that limit an arbitrary cap set by whatever plan my company purchased from Quickbase...or is it a physical limitation of the storage mechanism used by Quickbase? 2. Can multiple physical tables be joined together into a single virtual table? 3. Can multiple tables containing the same type of data be addressed by Quickbase? Say, I create tables NOTE_1, NOTE_2...NOTE_n, and have something like an intermediate NOTE_LOOKUP table to assist with managing the NOTE records? Can I copy an app and have the pipelines copy?
Hello, We have one app that we use multiple instances of. Frequently we need a new copy for a new project. However the functionality highly depends on multiple pipelines. We only use pipelines to reference tables within the given database. Is there any way to copy the app and the pipelines? Auto save function not saving record
I have the autosave function turned on for a table and a button in the table that navigates back to the home page with the intent to save the record progress where it is when clicking on the button. Furthermore, upon creating a record, there are a couple of other fields that are auto-filled in, one from the parent/child relationship and the other from the code in the Add Record button. However, if a record is started, and no other changes are made beyond those 2 auto-filled fields it doesn't save the record, it just navigates back to the home page. If I make just one other change, it works fine. I am wondering why those other fields changing when the record is created initially doesn't constitute a change? ------------------------------ Chris Swirtz ------------------------------Remove the option to delete from a report
I want to remove the ability to check a box on a report and be presented with the option to delete. I don't want to do this everywhere, but just certain reports which are only intended to be a visual display on a from to represent data in a child table. I'm not looking to disable the ability of a user or a role to delete that record.
