Unique ID of child for associated Parent
Relationship: Orders have many Defects
I have made a snapshot record that takes the maximum number of child (Defect) associated with the parent (Order) and that becomes the new record ID for the Defect.
"CR-"&[Order]&"-"&[Snapshot]
The issue is that if the user deletes a child record, then there become duplicate Defect numbers.
