Is there functionality within Quickbase that allows me to create a web forn that feeds data into my application?

Questions in the app would have a one to one relation with the application...

Can it be hosted on our quickbase site...such as https://mycompany.quickbase.com/customer_form

Thanks!

Hi Luis,

Yes, you can actually use our Web Form Wizard to create the form, after which you can paste the code on to your web page: http://quickbase.intuit.com/developer/knowledge-base/whats-easiest-way-create-generic-html-data-entr...

You can paste that code into a QuickBase Page if you'd like (You can create one by going to Home > Settings > Pages > New Page, and pick 'code page'),

The easiest way to open your app to the public is to first create a new role (I like to call it Public Access), then test it out to make sure those people will only be able to see what you want them to see. Then you open the app up to everyone on the internet by going to Home > Users > Share App with New User, and in the box where you'd normally type the person's email address, instead start typing the phrase Everyone on the Internet. When it's suggested as an option, you can click it and then assign it your public access role.

Thanks,

Brian
