Need to pre-fine the numbers for my x and y axis on a line graph report

I am looking to pre-define the axis points, as opposed to having it pull dates and amounts that have been input into the form by a user, and then building a graph on those.
E.g.:
You create a form that will track sales for the 2016 year, your goal is 100 sales by the last week in December.  You want to be able to watch the progress as we head towards the end of the year.  So each time an entry is input into the graph (sales for that week or month for a certain user), the line will move up and forward, towards the end date.  So you can see how far you have come, and how much more you need before your deadline of the end of year.

Sales
100|
      |
 50 |            ___/
      |           /
  25|     __/
      |    /
   0 |_/______________________________________________
jan     Feb     Mar   April   May    June   July   Oct    Nov  Dec

Right now, what happens is it only shows the date that the user is inputting on the form and where their progress has been.

Hi Greta,

If you are using a Bar Chart, you are able to create a Goal line. This will allow you to see a line for where they need to get to and as the records are added, the bars will get closer to the line.

Aside from this option, I would encourage you to submit feedback regarding this via our Feedback Platform - UserVoice - at http://quickbase.uservoice.com. This forum is used by our development team to explore customer suggestions for enhancements / changes to the platform. Many of the items that have been suggested by customers have already been incorporated into QuickBase and I would encourage you to participate as well!

Best,

Jeff
