I'm looking to run one of my custom html/js pages every X amount of time.  I'm hoping there is something like a task scheduler or an equivalent.  If not, does anyone have any clever suggestions on how to achieve this?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, there's nothing in quickbase to do this for you.  However, you could set-up a task scheduler on your computer to run the script at X amount of time.  This does mean your computer will have to be on when the scripts are set to run.

In a windows environment, you can create a batch file (.bat) with the content being "start YOURQUICKBASEJSPAGE".  Then open windows task scheduler and have the task scheduler open the batch file every X amount of time.

In a mac environment, you can use automator to open the quickbase js page using the automator function "Get Specified URLs".

Both windows task scheduler and mac automator are fairly straightforward and a quick google result will yield further instructions.

Hope I've helped!
