Solved

I have top tier QB enterprise access.  I need a way to build and run a script within QB and have it systematically run it on a schedule.  what I want to do can't be done with the default pipeline builder.I have a table that has a ticket number, open date, resolution date and a check box called Hard Down.  The objective is to review each ticket ticket and determine if it was open at 7:30 am each day and has the Hard Down box checked.  For every day the ticket was open at 7:30 am, we will insert the ticket number and the date it was open into a separate table.  For example, if a ticket was opened on 10/3/2024 at 09:00 am and resolved on 10/6/2024 at 06:45 am.  There would be 2 rows added to the Hard Down Trends table for dates (Ex. INC00000001234567 10/04/2024 and INC00000001234567 10/05/2024).  We would not include 10/3 because it was created after 7:30 am.  We would also not include 10/6 because it was resolved before 7:30 am.With all of that sai

I have Table A with all of the delay records. I have Table B that counts them by airports using a summary field in a table relationship. I have Table C that I want to grab the top five from Table B using maximum summary fields in a table relationship with Table B.Here is Table B. When I add a summary field in the relationship with Table C, I put in maximum and it returns nothing. Below is what I'm using for the summary field. Both of the fields are numeric.Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? I followed a Kirk Trachy YouTube video explaining how to do this and followed the direction exact to what he showed in the video.

Hi Team, I am using an app where I have two forms. I want to switch from form a to b and b to a using button while staying on the same record. I tried creating field using formula URL but this is not working as expected. Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks, BR

Hello, Is there a way to consolidate multiple rows into one row? I have Table A right now. The Site ID column is the key column for the table since it’s a numeric field with unique values. I know about creating a relationship and then creating a summary field but I don't think it would work in this case because I want to use the Account ID column to summarize instead of the Site ID column. The only columns I'm interested in are the ones in the red square. Basically, I want to extract that data and consolidate it using the Account ID field and then have all the different Account codes related to the Account ID in one cell (like Table B). I don't mind if it has to be in a separate table. Is there a way to do this?Table ATable ATable BTable B

There are three relevant tables in this scenario, Projects, Groups, and a summary table called Project Groups. There is a one to many relationship from Projects and from Groups to the Project Groups table. This is to allow a project to be a member of multiple groups, and a group can contain multiple projects. I would like to show an embedded report in the projects form that shows all of the other projects (with some other relevant fields) that share a group with the project I am viewing, and I plan to group that report by Group. Is there a way to accomplish this?

How do I change phone format (999) 777-4444 to 9997774444 so i can use it in my pipeline for an outgoing request

I can't seem to find a way to change the order of my fields/columns in my tables. I added a new field, but would like to move it to a different location other than the end of the table. I've looked for answers here but can't find any. I had found a couple posts that were several years old regarding this, but since QuickBase has changed/updated since then those solutions were no longer an option. I'm sure there is a way, I just can't figure it out.

I have been working to move to the new forms, using our own buttons and Iforms to control user workflows. The problem I'm having is one of formatting Rich Text buttons. Formular URL buttons (when used in new forms) automatically fit the width of the column, and have rounded edges. They can be made to look better by placing them in a column of their own to constrain the width, but the problem comes when using Formula Rich Text Buttons. I can make it the same general width to fill the space, but the corners are square. - see screenshot Does anyone have a recommendation on how to round the ends to look like the Save & Close in the screenshot here? The current code of the Save & Keep Working button is below"<a class='SaveBeforeNavigating' data-replaceRid=true style=\"text-decoration:none; background: #1b8b0a; border-radius: 5px; color: #ffffff; display: inline-block; padding: 5px 0px 5px 0px; width:180px; text-align: center; text-shadow: none; border: 2px solid #1b8b0a

I have a button that opens a Pre Use Check and the Formula is a case statement that looks at the asset type and open the correct checklist based on the asset type.  It was working but now is invisible on the form.  So I tried to build a "test form" and still shows up blank and I also tried to create a new Formula URL button but now I get a Refused to connect error.  Any help would be appreciated.  Support has not been able to help.  They sent me the link to the Check my Formula documentation. Here's the formula:  Case([Type],//Wake boat pre-use check"Wake boat",URLRoot() & "db/" & [_DBID_WAKEBOAT_PRE_USE_CHECK] & "?a=API_GenAddRecordForm&_fid_25=" & URLEncode ([Record ID#])& "&z=" & Rurl(),//Large boat pre-use check"Large boat",URLRoot() & "db/" & [_DBID_LARGE_BOAT_PRE_USE_CHECK] & "?a=API_GenAddRecordForm&_fid_20=" & URLEncode ([Record ID#])& "&z=" & Rurl(),//Small boat pre-use check"Smal

I have 3 (Parent) reference tables:  Dx Codes Reference, Pcs Codes Reference, and MS-DRG codes.  Then there is a Charts table, and two connected tables: Dx Codes and PCS Codes.  The relationships between them are as follows:Dx Codes Reference < Dx CodesCharts < Dx CodesPcs Codes Reference < Pcs CodesCharts < Pcs CodesMS-DRG Codes < ChartsEach year the Reference tables get an updated codes list.  My plan had been to just add 3 new reference tables each year for the new codes list.  but my quandary is how to have a field that picks from the appropriate reference table dependent on the chart discharge date.  Is there a way of doing this? Thanks for any insight you can provide.-Audra

Hi all,I'm trying to set up a checkbox that gets checked when a number of conditions are specified. Here's my current formula:If(Contains([Type],"Leader")or Contains([Type],"Managing")or Contains([Type],"Associate")and [Forecast Due Date]=Today()and [Revenue]=0and [Work Status]="Active"and [Frequency of  Pay] = "Monthly",true, false)Everything works fine except for the Contains, which I feel like I've tried just about every permutation of. Basically I need each of the conditions after the Contains to be true, AND I need one of the 3 Contains conditions to be true, after which I want my checkbox to be checked. From my results it feels like it's stopping at the OR statements and checking the box if any of them is true.Any help would be appreciated!

Is it possible to use GetRecords to query a table in a different application?  The formula only seems to accept the table alias for tables within the same application. Thanks for the help.

Have a formula that I can't find what error is. Error I'm getting is:column: 81 > Expecting , Any help appreciated.Here's my formula:List(", ", If([Approval Status] = "Pending", [Related Administrator Name]) )

I have AND statements nested in an OR statement and it is not working.I initially simply tried to say:If "Asset Sub number" is anything other than 0 and "Should this asset share a tag with Master" = "Yes" then make "Send Tag to FA team" editable.ORif "Contact (First Last Name)" is not blank AND "Tag will be mailed to this address" is not blank then make "Send Tag to FA team" editable. This did not work and so I elaborated on the above as shown in the screenshot. That too does not work. As soon I type in a Contact (First Last) name, the "Send Tag to FA team" becomes editable. You can see from the OTHERWISE statement that it did not read my logic correctly at all.How do I fix this? Thanks!

Hi all - I have a dataset importing into QuickBase but the dates arrive in EPOCH time (milliseconds since 1/1/1970). These import into the field dtmDateCompleted, a numeric field. I am trying to create a formula date/time field that will convert the EPOCH date into the correct format for reporting. If the record does not have a date completed (dtmDateCompleted is NULL), then this formula Date/Time field should remain blank. I have the conversion for populated fields functioning correctly; however, for dtmDateCompleted fields that are null, it is listing 1/1/1970 instead of leaving the field blank. TL;DR, the below formula is not accepting the first IsNull() condition in a formula date/time field. This is the formula I have so far: If(IsNull([dtmDateCompleted]), null,If(not IsNull([dtmDateCompleted]),(ToTimestamp(ToDate("1/1/1970"), ToTimeOfDay("00:00:00")) + Seconds([dtmDateCompleted]/1000))))Thank you!

Hello,I am new to using the Copy Records step in Pipeline.I have a pipeline running with no errors but also creating no data. It's activity log reports that it skips all of the source table's records, even when there is no query. The Merge Field is set to the Record ID#, which was the only option to choose. The pipeline structure is simple:Step A: Search a User tableStep B: For each User found, copy the records from a Master table to a Child table. Are there more steps to implement to use Copy records?

I have a table-to-table relationship set up where the names of clients should pull from one report into another where we are entering data for that client. The parent table is the report with the names of clients and the child table is the report where we are entering the data. I am trying to get a lookup field set up to pull the clients name, however the look up field is not generating the actual names, it only generates the number of names there are. I need help, lol. I am not tech-savvy; my boss thinks I am. I've attached a photo; any help is super appreciated.

Hello, does anyone have a formula saved to determine whether a numeric field is an odd or even number? Thanks!

I have a table that could have multiple records where the member id# is the same.  I would like to display these additonal records on the form of each record that is related.  I am using the new forms and tabs.  I want to display the records on a tab.  I was thinking it would be done by a summary report but I can't see how I can filter that summary report to match on the member id#.How would I go about this? Thanks

Hello!I am wanting to create a report that easily identifies missing data/blank fields in my app. Most of these are text fields, but we have some numeric and date fields as well. In short, we want to monitor that data is being effectively entered without making every field mandatory. I would love if I could just run a summary report based on blank values on the specified fields to generate something similar to the dummy table below, but I have been unable to figure it out as currently configured. FieldQty MissingClient POC - NameXXClient POC - EmailXXClient POC - PhoneXXAdjuster - NameXXAdjuster - PhoneXXAdjuster - EmailXX Any help is much appreciated! Thank you,

Hello,I need help with rounding up a whole number in Quickbase.  My formula in Excel is =IF(ISNUMBER(D59),IF(ROUNDUP((Q55/10),0)<5,5,ROUNDUP((Q55/10),0)),"")Round doesn't work when the number from the formula in Quickbase is over 100 or larger.I want to be able to take something like 2,250/10 = 225(Q55 in formula above) and have QB give me 23.  If I put in 1 in my formula it would give me 5.  1/10=.1 returns 5.Thanks in Advance. Jennifer

I have a child table that is built in Form Engine.  A pipeline takes info from the child table and creates a parent table with a custom key. That key is from a text formula field in the child table. It works but now I need a summary field (sum of some amounts) on the parent table, which will not work because the key is from a formula.I'm wondering if there is some way I can create a text field in the child table that gets its value from the formula field, so that static text field can be used as the key rather than the formula.  Is this possible?  Or is there another, better strategy?

Hey Everyone,I'm working on an app for tracking attendance by class. Would it be possible to create a  dynamic list of checkboxes that teachers can toggle for students who are present each day?For example, Class 1 Day 1 has 15 out of 20 students, and Class 2 Day 1 has 18 out of 25 students. I've already set up a parent-child relationship per class, but I'm now sure how to implement the dynamic checkboxes.Any Idea would help. Thanks

I have an app that contains the address field.  It is working normally.I am trying to create a new app with the address field.  When I type the address into the lookup portion of the field and select lookup, the entire field goes blank and the map says no location to lookup.  The address is not propagated into the street, city, state, and zip code fields either. Is there a setting that I am missing?

I have an Employee database and a database that houses all our company records,These two apps were connected years ago and worked great. I used it for two fields -two  sale rep field that was connected.    I copied over the database to start a new company. Some roles can not see these two fields. Even though i opened up all permissions on the table where the fields were being used. When I tested the role on my end it showed that they could use it, but user continued to show me proof that they could not. It was greyed out or the drop down was blank.I tried all sorts of things, even removed her user and gave her a new role. Nothing. I was going to go live in a day and couldn't get these two fields to work and went into a different direction - QB would not help because of the two apps connected. said it was beyond their scoop of help and I should upgrade to get better tech support -hahahah ( which I eventually did) waste of money and i am only 3 days into this new pack
