I'm trying to find the number of records created in the last 24 hours using the following code, but getting a type mismatch error, any advice? Count(If([Date Created] > ToTimestamp(ToDate(Today()) - 1), 1, null))------------------------------Troy MacPherson------------------------------

I am trying to make a Pipeline that will create a set of Tasks (child records) to specific Reports (the parent record). Everything is working until it gets to the Duration field that I use to record default time for a simple task in the list (instead of requiring a logged time entry). If I use the Smart Time entry that I can use inside the duration field, it bombs and tells me it needs to be an integer. I put it in numerically, and it simply does not fill in the duration when the Task record is created after the Pipeline finishes its run. Any suggestions for fixing this?------------------------------Jennifer Peterson------------------------------

Help! I have a pipeline that runs great as long as I don't put in an advanced query. If I put that in, no matter what field I reference or syntax I use, the pipeline bombs because of the advanced query.  Her's the syntax I am using: I am thinking this says Look in Field ID 12, and if that is greater than 0, select the record. Again, it works fine with no value in there, but any value seems to break things. Thoughts?------------------------------Don Strickland------------------------------

Is there way to export a list of Text - Multiple Choice fields and the options for each one.  I have a lot and I need a list of them but it will take forever to manually do it. Thanks!------------------------------Carol Mcconnell------------------------------

I have a table based on 3 digit zip that has the user listed for each 3 digit zip.  On the main table/form, when a user clicks a checkbox, I would like the user field to update to the correct user based on the 3 digit zip code that is on the record. Can you advise how I would do that? ------------------------------Carol Mcconnell------------------------------

Hi Caroline, I wanted to ask if by chance you or Alex could share which platform Alex was using to build out the QuickBase chat bot, that he show cased prior to the AI Builder. As I am interested in leveraging the same type of functionality to train a chat bot.------------------------------Carlos Meza------------------------------

A Pipeline API successfully retrieves text into the QuickBase Rich text field.  The sometimes-lengthy text does not have any CRLF so the text is all run together. The User will be editing the text so it would be helpful to pre-insert the new line for them as the text can be long. The new line needs to go before any single or multiple digits followed by a period & 1 space, ex. "1. " or "11. " or "215. ". There can be just a few to over 50 or more instances. A Regex seems to identify the places in the text but have yet to be able to prepend the "\n" or "<br>" in subsequent pipeline steps. 'Find All Matches to a RegEx' has been used to find the areas. In (1) pipeline the Rich Text field was being updated w/ the new line using the QuickBase Update step but each subsequent regex update wiped out the previous change. {% set claimTxt = d.group_0 | replace(d.group_0, '<br>'+d.group_0) %}{{ c.claim | replace(d.group_0, claimTxt)}} Would think that the 'Apply Regular Express

Hi;Is anyone else considering looking elsewhere due to the rate increase?  Possibly quickbase's increases are staggered but ours is effective today - 65% increase!!!!  Our company can't afford that. We are a small company and do not need 20 users for the least cost package.  What are smaller companies to do when they only need say 10 users?------------------------------Liz Kaminski------------------------------

I have two databases and I have a connected table from db1 to db2. When the TIN is updated on a record in DB1, the change it not showing up in DB2.  I have the refresh set to make the table match exactly.  The refresh key is set to the record id and the key field is TIN.  What is happening is the TIN is being changed in DB1 but it is not updated in db2.  Does it have anything to do with the key field being set to TIN?------------------------------Carol Mcconnell------------------------------

I have two tables that represent a parent-child relationship. Each row in the child table contains a "parent_id" column that relates it to the parent table. I'd like to create a report that (for a specific child) shows other rows that have the same "parent_id". I thought that I would create a self-join relationship on the child table but I can only do that using the child table's key field. I'd like to do it on "parent_id" instead. Is there a different pattern I can use to show these "sibling" rows (rows with the same "parent_id")?------------------------------Sean Carpenter------------------------------

I have two tables in the same app - Client and Client Details. Let's say Client Details is a subset of Client. The reason I made a subset table is there are too many dependencies that may get impacted if I edit the main Client Table. The Client Details table is connected to Client Table and refreshes automatically. If I go and change the key field in the Client Details Table (Subset table), will it impact the main Client Table key field? Record ID#2 is set as the key field as well as the Refresh key field for the Client Details Table whereas the same field in Client Table is set as the key field for that table. My question is if I change the key field alone in Client Details table to RecordID#, will this impact the key field for the patent Client table?------------------------------Rahul Mathew------------------------------

I am looking for a way to view, in table format, all Parent records AND any related Child records.  I understand that some of the data displayed will be repetitive, but that is okay.  If I create the new "table view" from the Child, then only those Parents will show where there is a connection.  And my only option from the Parent side, is to create Summary fields, but I don't want a summary, I want to see all the records. Part of this effort is to see which Parents don't have certain Children.  I think I could create a report or table that would just display this information, but I'd like to see it in relation to all the Children records.  My work around for now has been to export the entire Parent table and Child table into Excel and manually match Parents up with Children so that I can see all the relationships and even those without a relationship. Just seeking a more automated or programable option as manually is not a quick process.------------------------

Currently percentages are sums instead of averages on the "Total and Averages Row" for my table reports. Having an average of my percentages but a total of my other numeric data is what I am looking for in this line. Is there a way for %s to be averaged on that final row instead of totaled? Screenshot for reference.  Thanks in advance! ------------------------------Jen Black------------------------------

Hello I wanted to see if there was a way to calculate someone's age based on the day that they enrolled with us. I have the DOB as a date field and the Start date as well.  It would be easy to just do [DOB]- [Start Date] and get the days but I would like the answer to be displayed in years if the person is older than 1 year old and displayed in months if they are less than a year old on a Formula-Text field. Majority of Clients are Children but we also have mothers join programs. Would this be possible or is manually the only way? Thank you in advance, I appreciate your help. ------------------------------Maritza Acosta Gonzalez------------------------------

Hello, I need some help. I need to generate a Percentage based on How many times a member joins a meeting per year. I have each attendance as a simple checkmark and then another field for a date. We have various types of meetings some are only like twice a year or the most we have is 11.  Each record is per person so I have dates filled and just if they attended or not.  Is there anyway to make quickbase know Which meeting is the last and make that a number to use to add to a formula to calculate a percentage? How would I write a formula where I could have the total number of Checked Attendance/ by the Maximum number of meetings per year. Like have one record have 7 meetings and the person only attended 5 and have the field with the formula generate 71%. but then the next record have 5 meetings and have only 1 meeting and have the field with the formula automatically generate 20%? Or does this have to something that Has to be manually done because the records can vary too mu

Hi all, I am looking for a way to configure a button that when I click it, it opens a new tab to add a comment, after finishing the comment, I need to save it then close that tab automatically.  Do you have an idea on how to achieve this? I have a table that I need to export and save to sharepoint as a csv file.  I'll need to do it once a month. Is there a way to do this via pipelines without having to export to file to a shared drive and then upload it to sharepoint? Thanks.------------------------------Carol Mcconnell------------------------------

Hi everyone, I'm having a bizarre issue with the home page search function, and I'm not finding any other reference to anything similar on the community. Apologies if I missed another discussion already posted about this.  I have a search bar on a home page that is supposed to search and display results based on a certain report. For my admin role, this works perfectly. But for every other user, it defaults to the reporting defaults for the table and searches every single record regardless of the filters applied to the report.  Has anybody else experienced this? I did also have a user test it for me on their account to verify that it isn't some strange thing that happens when I "test as user." #Apphomepages #Search #Userandgroupmanagement ------------------------------Elena Larrabee------------------------------

Back to quickbase after a long period of inactivity. New to pipelines . Have managed to use some functionalities (bulk records and upsert) to import some text files and Google sheets) I want to:  after de pipeline finishes processing, the user goes to a certain report or form to manually do some things Suppose I have to use a quickbase api call at the end of the pipeline (last step). Tested without success. Can anyone share the steps os url (generic) needed to achieve this , if this is possible?  ------------------------------eduardo valdes------------------------------

Me again...: ) I have a formula field that combines the selections in 2 different fields.  The result of which is copied to another field when the form/record is saved.  (This is to create a relationship filed to another table.) - This step works as expected. I have a checkbox that looks to see if there is a record in the related table for the value in the relationship field.  Unchecked, no record.  Checked, record. - This step works as expected. I have a pipeline that is set that when a record is created, if the box is unchecked, then create a new record in the related table using the relationship field as the primary key.  No other fields from the parent table are copied. - This step appears to start too "early" as the resulting created records do not have the correct relationship field. Scenario - user selects create new record and must select a Property and then select a Year.  The formula field on the form is a simple concatenation ([Unit - Related Pr

I that a Total field that needs to... 1st look at a Manual entry field and pull the value it if it is populated. Caveat, if 0 is entered in the Manual field then the Total needs to be 0. So I have taken the "treat blanks as 0" off the Manual field. 2nd if there is NOT a value in the Manual field, and Charge Filing Fee is Checked then apply Filling Fee to the Total.  IF Charge Filing Fee is not checked then the Total is 0.  Below is my current formula. The piece that I can figure out is if 0 is entered into the Manual field. If([Filing Fees - Manual]<>0, [Filing Fees - Manual], If([Fee Schedule - Charge Filing Fee?]=true, [Fee Schedule - Filing Fees (per Filing)],0)) ------------------------------Ashley Solomon------------------------------

Hello, When I opened up my QuickBase tables today, I found that I only have a record's "Edit" icon/button available in any report I view.  The "View" icon/button is gone.  I made sure that "Allow viewing records from this report" is enabled, so that's not the issue.  Has anyone seen this problem before? ------------------------------Christopher Job------------------------------
