Once you have the URL in your Browser, just Copy it and then make a Dashboard button URL and paste in the URL.
Hi Mark,

Thanks for your reply.

Can we use as a formula URL button ?

Suppose we have a button called Add IT Ticket that we have used in report and also showing on home page.

Can we do this thing in formula URL and after create this back to previous page ?

It will also consider current user.

Sorry, I'm am not understanding your latest question.
I have created a formula URL button and code is

URLRoot() & "db/bkuw284jz?a=API_GenAddRecordForm&_fid_3=" & URLEncode ([Record ID#])& "&z=" & Rurl()

I have hardcoded here DBID as I am adding a record in another app and after saving the record it is not coming back to it's original page.
You will need to enter the URL without any formula language. A Dashboard button URL cannot do any formula calculations.  It needs to be resolved to an actual URL such as

I don't know why you are trying to refer to a record ID#.  That does not make sense when adding a new record.

As Mark mentions above for adding a record you do not need to specify a record ID as thats created once the record has been added. Although if adding a record to another app and wanting to link the records together for update purposes you can copy the record id from the record where your clicking the button from and copy it to the new record in the other app.

URLRoot() & "db/buyjnbbgf?a=API_AddRecord&apptoken=bx245675843gbjfubxt7m4zv6r&_fid_49="&URLEncode([Link ID])

& "&_fid_36="&URLEncode([Price])

& "&_fid_38="&URLEncode([Net])

& "&_fid_39="&URLEncode([Tax])

& "&rdr="& URLEncode(URLRoot() & "db/bihnh5j854")

You need this part of the code and if its not the roles default dashboard then you need to specify the dashboard page to return to.

& "&rdr="& URLEncode(URLRoot() & "db/bihnh5j854"

If you want to specify a specific dashboard then it would look something like this if your dashboard page id is 7.

& "&rdr="& URLEncode(URLRoot() & "db/bihnh5j854?a=showpage&pageid=7"
