I was hoping someone could help point me in the right direction or by providing an example how they satisfied a similar requirement.

· There is a Contract table with ~ 600+ records that have a status = “Active” [the contract file has ~ 900 total records with 600+ having the status = Active]].
· When an action happens (the action can be a “Button” or triggered by “date/time” [Example: 10/08/2018 @ 5 PM]), a record would get added to the audit table for each “Active” record in the Contract table creating 600+ audit records.

Any help how to build this feature in QuickBase would greatly be appreciated!

I suggest creating a saved table to table import to Import Active Contract Records into the Audit table.  Map the Record ID# field into the field [Related Contract].

Once you have that setup and tested, you can use an "Automation" run this import on a schedule.
