Data Import Issue

Hello -

I have taken over a QB from another admin and had to make some updates to the forms and fields that are now being imported and auto populating based on the report data via a relationship.  

The issue I'm having is there is a Calculated ID (text) field appearing where Legal First Name should be.  The headers on the report match the exact data that was being imported from a previous report, so I am not sure why when I import data from this new report one of the header columns is changing to a field that is not anywhere on the new report.

I did not have this issue when I imported our old data report, and I made sure the new report has the exact same headers so that it wouldn't mess up the import.  This text field I am referring to is somehow being used in the current relationship as I see it under the lookup fields in the relationship, but I don't want to remove it since it's being used in a few other places.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

To get a perfect match, you will need to have the field names match perfectly.  Any small difference will throw the mapping and then once QuickBase guessing wrong on one field there is a domino effect and a bunch will be wrong.

I'm not sure of the source file you are importing, but if you have control over it, I would do an fresh export from QuickBase to excel to get the field names.  Then Copy and paste those field name in your import excel sheet first row to make sure they are letter perfect.
