How can you change the color of the timeline report bars based on criteria?

I have a timeline report where each row is a task assigned to a different user.  I would like users to be able to easily visualize where tasks assigned to the same users are overlapping.  Because all the bars are gray, it is difficult to identify, which tasks belong to which users.  I'd prefer to have all tasks for user 1 to be one color, user two another color, etc.  I tried adding a color coded field off to the left as suggested in a prior community post, but that doesn't quite work because it is way off to the left and the information I'm trying to visually compare are the bars off to the right of the screen.  I'm finding that the color really needs to  be on the actual bars to clearly, accurately and quickly spot overlapping task durations.  That other post was 4 yrs old, so I thought I'd ask again.  I'm hoping this as become an option since then.  (fingers crossed..)  Is this an option in native Quick Base today and if yes, can you point me in the right direction as to how to set it up?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Change the default Colors, not that I know of.
But, you can create a report "My Tasks" and set a filter to only show tasks that are "the Current User".
That way, whomever is logged in, only sees their tasks.
That is if those "Users" are assigned to the task and you have a proper "user" field being used.

I wish we could pick the colors more.
