  • 1.  How to I pull text data from child table and 'combine' into a single text field at the parent level?

    Kind of like a summary field for text. I need this for a report. 

    For example - the parent table "jobs" that has 3 services. I want to pull the 3 "service names" into a single field ('service names') for the related "job". I want to combine the names into a single field for easy export.

    Dan, if I had a multiple choice field on the child records called [order] -- (multiple choices 1,2,3,4,5,6,7.8,9,10) --  basically when Concatenate Children records To Parent record -- having the ability to determine what order to concatenate....as well as having a checkbox field -- [Exclude] -- having the ability to exclude child records where Exclude is checked..

    Is there a reasonable limit to how many children you have for a parent?
