Currently, I have a table set up that is connected to a box file. There are 5 additional fields that I am adding to the end of the table that are not in the connected box file. But I would like to fill those fields since some of them are already filled in within a typical excel spreadsheet. Every time I try to import it, I am unable to because it is a connected table. I attempted to import the fields into another table and then import them from that table but I was stopped as well. Is it possible to import data for fields that are connected?

I don't believe that,p you can import into existing records or manually add new recors to a connected table.

But if you set up a new parent with the same Key field as your connected table and make the connected table a child to that new table of "Extra fields" then those extra fields can get there via being lookups
