I want to write a file import script. Can I do everything in QuickBase and not have to create external code and API calls?

I need to do the follow to integrate a file into my QuickBase. Is there a way to setup these things in QuickBase and not generate cody/API calls from a server somewhere?

1. Pull a file from an external SFTP site
2. Parse the files and transform the data
3. Insert rows into QB tables
4. Send a notification email upon completion

I spoke to quickbase about this problem (which i currently also have)and it seems that it can parse and create records (using finctions that are built in which are similar to substring classes, but connecting to a ftp server without own code wont work. The only thing that might work if you can get the data from server into box or dropbox and then use sync in quickbase.

If you come by a better way please post.
