I'm trying to create a report that can automatically update and show this month's goals and next months, without listing the entire year. Is there a way to do this?

I'm trying to create a report that has the capability to track goals for every single month of the year, but in the report view I only want it to show the goals for the current month, and then the next month. For example, this month the report would only show the goals for November and December. Next month, it would only display the goals for December and January. Essentially it is a way to track the progress of our current goals for the month, while allowing us to set the goals for the following month.

Can you describe the fields on your record?  Do you now have 12 slots for the 12 months of the year?

If that is the case, then you would simply add two more fields of type formula-numeric.  They would be called [Current Month Goal]  and [Next Month Goal]

They would have a formula like

1, [My January Goal field],
2, [My February  Goal field],
12, [My December Goal field])

The  formula for the Next Month would be
1, [My February Goal field],
2, [My March  Goal field],
11, [My December Goal field])

However, you would not be able to grid edit those fields on the report as they would be formula fields.
