We manufacture a packaged food product. We need to manage inventory of raw materials (recording lot numbers, received dates, & invoices). when the ingredients are used for batch production. Each ingredient lot number needs to be assigned to that batch and each batch needs to be given a unique number that is recorded on each case box (preferably in bar code label form). When a shipment is compiled, the unique numbers assigned to each product need to be assigned to the invoice.

It sounds like there is some analysis required to lay out the best structure for your data.  It certainly sounds very "doable' in QuickBase.  There is a list of QuickBase developer partners here or feel free to contact me via the information on my Community Forum profile or from that partner list under Your QuickBase Coach

The forum is best at answering focused questions concerning product features, 'how to questions' and technical questions. Your question is much broader and appears to ask how to build an application based on some spreadsheets you currently use in your workflow. I think you need to speak to a developer. Feel free to contact me using the information in my profile.
