Trying to build a "Form Letters" table that uses multiple choice selection for letter type and brings up the desired letter once saved.

I'm trying to build a "Form Letters" table for several different letters that my company has to send out fairly frequently.

I'm using a "formula-text" type of field for the letter using html for formatting and mixing the text with referenced fields in related tables (this is working great).

Ideally, when I create a new record, I'd like to use a multiple choice drop down to select the desired letter type then have that form letter appear for copy/pasting once the record is saved.  I feel like there should be a way to do this using some sort of conditional formatting, but I'm not sure how.  Any help would be much appreciated!  I'm not set in my current format so if you have a different idea for how to do this more effectively, I'm all ears...

Well I figured out the answer to my own question.  I thought I'd add it in here just in case anybody else ever wants to do something similar...

I already had three form letters, which we'll call [Letter A], [Letter B], & [Letter C].  I created a multiple choice field called [Letter Choice] with three options "Letter A", "Letter B", and "Letter C".

I then created a formula-text type field, called [Form Letter] and used an if-then statement:

If ([Letter Choice] = “Letter A”, [Letter A], [Letter Choice] = “Letter B”, [Letter B], [Letter Choice] = “Letter C”, [Letter C])

I enabled html and set the letter to display only for viewing and viola it works!

*As I add more form letters I'll make each letter a new field, add that option to [Letter Choice], and extend my if-then statement.

I need a similar arrangement in place.  So allow me to compliment you on sharing this. I have a projects table and cost variation table.  Once we approve the cost variation, I would like to send a letter to the builder advising the approval.  In this case, do I need to establish a separate table to hold templates?  Little hand holding will help me.
