Trying to create a Record # lookup field that would allow Project Title & Due Date of a separate record to be automatically reflected in a ticket.

I want to create a field in my Creative Services Request form that will allow user creating new record (ticket) to enter another ticket # referring to other aspects of an overall project, which would auto-populate ticket name, due date etc from that ticket.

REASON: We produce emails which include art produced prior/during the coding phase of the email. The goal is to be able to enter ticket #s of assets to be included in the email within the coding ticket, resulting in a list of all asset ticket names plus due dates.

I see how to create relationships between tables to support this, but nothing that allows individual records within the same table to be tied together.

I suggest making a new child table to record this information. Thus sounds like a classic Parent Child Relationship that you want.

While you can, in fact relate a Tabke to itself, that does not seem like the best solution for you use case.
