With the instructions and examples of webhooks being so limits I am trying out various things

current project is to use webhooks to GET all children tables related to a parent record when a child is modified added or deleted. id like to then post a specific field from each of those children into a single text field on its parent.

Please do not concern with how I parse the info from this new field or the reason why. The only thing I need to know is how to access the data retrieved after using the GET using API_DoQuery webhook to then be used in another POST API_EditRecord.

You can't read the XML response of any Webhook.

Since Webhooks cannot send across a firewall, a public server is required to read the Webhook.  Amazon Web Services for the win!  You can create a simple API server that can be on the receiving end of that Web Hook.  Email me offline if you would like some sample code.
