So I have a tabled called: Publishers.  On that table I have a link/report to a separate table called Contacts.   These are the contacts related to the publisher. That works fine.  I have a report on the Contact table called: For the Publisher Table and this shows up properly.

I have a third table called Publications.  This show the publications related to the publisher

Now I want the contact report (For the Publisher Table) that shows up on the Publisher table to also show up on the Publication table and be attached.

For example:

Publisher name is Budget Travel.

They have a contact name Jane Smith.

She has two publications called Budget Travel Cruises and Budget Travel Road Trips.  On those two publications records, I want the report of all related contacts to that publisher to show.  How do I do that?

no problem.

"People" (not you, of course, but other "people") think that you need a relationship to have a Report Link field of say embedded contacts on some other record.  Ah, we we know better and we know this is really easy.

So on the Publications record make a new field called Report Link of Contacts.  On the left side of the field setup, select [Related Publisher].  One the right side navigate back to your app and then scroll down to the contacts fields Contacts and then select the field [Related Publisher].

Put that Report Link field on your Publications form and set the form properties to show the contacts directly on the form, and y'er done.
