1.) What is the up front cost? is this in addition to the monthly fee per user?

I see that you have (3) categories for cost? Basic/Essential is $15/User Minimum 10 users or $150 a month. Is there a one time 'Up Front cost' besides this $150?

How do you calculate 'Users'?? only (10) are allowed to use it? What if company has 20,000 users that will view information or use it? Does that count as well?

This is a user to user self support site, so I may not be able to fully answer for QuickBase.  If you contact their sales department they can give you a full response.

The pricing setup is typical for cloud based sites.  Each unique userid which has access to any of the Apps in your account would count as a user.  Once a User has access to one app its an "all you can eat service", ie for that userid it then does not matter if they use just 1 App or many apps or how much they use it.

Once you hit them limits of the plan you are on for the use count, you will be automatically charged for the extra users.

Note that I'm guessing that 80% of the user base is on the middle plan level which is $500 per month for the first 20 users, because it supports the features which almost all apps require.
