I have two forms in one of my tables named: FY16 & FY17.
I'm trying to specify the form which I want used by specific roles and reports using the Forms settings page. I can change the Add, View, Edit form but when I try to change the Grid Edit the drop down box keeps reverting back to FY17.
The same behavior happens when I try to override by report. So for example, I want a report with date from FY16 to use the FY16 form for add, edit, view and grid edit. I can not get any option in the grid edit drop down to stick but FY17.
And... when any particular report goes into grid edit it seems to be requiring fields that aren't on the original report... (again - perhaps using te FY17 form??)
