  • 1.  Display 1 record in report not form

    Hi
I have a report with column set to drilldown to s specific report.
the drilldown works as I want, _except_ that if the drilldown only finds a single record, it's displaying the form instead of the report. That will be confusing for our users - is there any way of forcing QB to show the results in the report even if there is only one record in the report?
The report that is being drilled down to is a table report.

I doubt that you can change this behavior. I would consider that to be value add feature for Quick Base to be smart enough to display the record when there is only one record on report.  This should get the user to the information they are looking for, more quickly.  I suppose there are use cases including yours where you might preferred not to do that but and be able to configure the drill down option for a single record result, right now it works out works.

I predict that your users will get used to the way this works and not be confused. It just makes sense to go to the single record that matches. That's the way the searching works in QB as well. It saves time and keystrokes/mouseclicks.
