Is there a way to display info on the parent table from related min/max records in the child table?

I have a one to many relationship where the parent table is "projects" and the child table is "tasks".  I created summary fields to show the minimum and maximum related task on each record for the projects table.

I would like to show another field from the tasks table on the projects form for matching tasks.  Right now I only see the record ID# of the min/max related task and I don't see an option to display other fields from the tasks table.

I was wondering if there was a way to do this, similar to an index match function for excel.  Thanks.

To do a reverse relationship.

You already have the maximum record ID number of a task record. If you want to get other fields from that particular record floated up to the parent table, but you making a new relationship where one task has many projects. Yes it appears to be backwards but that is why it is called the reverse relationship.

As your reference field on the right-hand side of the relationship use that maximum Task record ID number. Once you build the relationship you can look "up "any field do you want from the task to the project record.
